Dead things should stay dead. Except Bruce Wanye! Bring him back DC!

To begin with, I was startled to learn that Zombieland had once been proposed for a tv series, but the network turned it down. Seriously guys! What the hell for? Why on earth would anyone turn down such a concept for a tv show. I would have watched it, and possibly forced all of my friends to watch it. So here's what it has become. The movie that is not showing in theaters for your enjoyment. And even better news is that there is plenty of material left for sequels.

Zombieland was once a tv series, now a movie with mass amount of sequels?

And bonus link for the day(+1000 exp points):

A list of reason why you shouldn't bring people back from the dead, even if you have the power. My number one reason would be because I would be worried they would return as Zombies and I would have created patient zero in a zombie apocalypse. As much as I would be prepared for a zombie epidemic, I don't want to cause one. That would be silly.

10 reasons from pop-culture you don't give life back to the dead

And the 2nd Bonus link for Wednesday, because I love you guys:

War World Z has been talked about in the movie sense of a book's life before. But it's been a while. New news emerged and here it is. Enjoy you brains.

Overnight Zombies

Jon Heder is now a Zombie. to prove this, here's a link to the new web-series he is starring in called 'Woke Up Dead'. If you pretty smart, you can probably guess the basis of the series is a guy who woke up dead one day. Now his friends are convinced he's a zombie and a girl wants his body....for scientific reasons. I haven't watched any of it because I've actually had to be at work lately. So no fun for me.

Cheating Zombies

Today's zombies are not what I intended. Because I am tired and don't feel like really discussing much. So here it is. Pretty much a repeat. So I'm pretty much cheating today. But at least I made an effort!

The Crazies (io9)

I'm looking forward to this. I know it's not technically zombies, but it reminds me more of the rage virus in 28 days later, so I'm throwing it into the zombie corner of my brain.

I finished reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies today. It took me forever to get through the book. It's awesome, but it's still Pride and Prejudice, ya know? The beginning is pretty boring in pride and prejudice and zombies help it along a bit. It finally picks up about half way through. Some days it just couldn't keep my attention. Of course, some days nothing can keep my attention.

Zombies beat toys, meatballs, and other crap.

Weekend Box Office.

Zombies: The Book of Recorded Attacks.

With all the hype over Zombieland this weekend, I thought I would take a look into another median that offers zombie entertainment as well. Literature. But not just any literature. Graphic Novel Literature. By Max Brooks.

If you don't know who Max Brooks is, he's the guy that wrote The Zombie Survival Guide, and World War Z. Both of which I loved. I had one person tell me that he thought World War Z was painfully stereotypical once the setting reached beyond the border of the united states. I didn't think it was. I thought the book was awesome. I really did not want to stop reading it. Max Brooks writes intriguing pieces of fiction. And I can't wait to see his jump in the illustrated world of literature. The book debuts October 6th at a cover price of 17.00. If you're like me, I would just go ahead and front the 25 dollar price for a Barnes and Nobles membership. It's well worth it.
I'm starting day shift at work tomorrow, so if I fall behind on posts I apologize in advance. I believe tomorrows post will be about the comic The Walking Dead, which I plan to get into as soon as I get moved.

Also I might need to stop thinking about Zombies for a bit. I had another dream that the virus or whatever could pass to other species. It was by far the longest and most real zombie dream I've ever had. I feel like zombies are taking over my brain (pun intended! Man, I'm a riot!)

Malls: Not just for Shopping Anymore

Some days there just are not any Zombie links to be found. So I have to dig into the past, using my time machine. It's not the cheapest way to find older links, but by george I love going 88 mph.
